Bile duct calculi. One of our "routine" patient categories. Patients sent for bile duct clearance prior to cholecystectomy. Stones were seen in the middle bile duct (A: green arrow). After a wide papillotomy, stones were removed with stone extraction balloon. An occlusion cholangiogram done after stone removal showed a clear CBD with no negative shadows (B).
