A 35 year old lady with cholelithiasis and choledocholithiasis, Sent by the surgical team for CBD clearance prior to cholecystectomy.
On ERCP, contrast injection showed a single stone in the CBD as a rounded negative shadow (A : green arrow). We did a wide papillotomy (B: green arrow) followed by removal of the stone with a biliary balloon (C: green arrow points to the inflated balloon & D: green arrow shows the removed stone in the duodenal lumen).
I am a gastroenterologist. This is a blog of the ERCPs and related endoscopic procedures carried out at my department. Dr Adnan Salim.
